Every tenant is a member of BNCHA.
At BNCHA, our community is our strength. As the largest housing co-operative of its kind in the UK, we operate with a fully mutual structure, where each tenant is also a member. We actively encourage all members to have a voice in shaping the services and policies that affect their homes and the wider community.
Our members are more than just tenants; they are stakeholders with the opportunity to influence how the co-op is governed and how services are delivered. Whether it’s through attending tenant members meetings or workshops, providing feedback, or participating in community initiatives, every tenant member plays a role in the ongoing success of BNCHA.
We believe in the values of cooperation, shared responsibility, and collective action. By working together, our members help create a supportive, democratic, and inclusive environment that benefits both the individual and the broader community.
